About

Caleb Mahoney is an artist living in Jacksonville, FL with his wife, Jennie, and their son, Oliver and dog, Cash. He’s a Jacksonville native- growing up in the Avondale and Jacksonville Beach. Since childhood, he has been expressing himself through any medium he could get his hands on. At an early age his family recognized his passion for art; encouraged it and continues to nurture his pursuits to this day. After high school he attending the Savannah College of Art and Design where he studied Fine Art with a major in Sculpture.

Caleb describes his work as a battle of raw, unforgiving pain against peace and tranquility. The result of that battle is an aesthetic that is both primitive and refined, conveying both simplicity and unexpectedness. “I have to break the canvas in order to see what it can become. When I am truly working, the noise in my head goes quite, and in that place I can truly express my honest self.”
